Halfback Emerger

Created by Mike Lawson

Imitates an emerging blue-winged olive mayfly. Use it during a hatch when the trout are taking duns and/or emergers near the surface.

A pale morning dun version can be tied in a similar manner with pale yellow thread and a pale yellow thorax.
