Green Rock Worm

Created by Gary LaFontaine

Imitates the larval form of green caddis (aka green rock worm; genus Rhyacophila), which are often found drifting in rivers.

How to Fish

Dead drift near the bottom with an trout indicator or tight line presentation. If you are on a river that has a large population of free-living caddis, this is a good fly choice in the spring. Riffly areas are especially productive.

HOOK: 200R, sizes 12-18; weighted
