Beadhead Rock Worm

Imitates the larva of the green caddis (aka green rock worm; genus Rhyacophila), which is often found drifting in rivers.

How to Fish

Use tight line or trout indicator tactics to present the fly near the bottom. If you are on a river that has a large population of free-living caddis, this is a good fly choice in the spring. Riffly areas are especially productive.
