Recipe

HOOK: 1X heavy, standard shank, turned-up eye; e.g. TMC 7999 or equivalent. Sizes 2-8

THREAD: Black

TAIL: Golden pheasant breast

RIB: Gold flat tinsel, medium

COUNTER RIB: Silver flat tinsel, medium. Both ribs are counterwound over the hackle after it has been wrapped

HACKLE: Golden brown Schlappen wrapped from tail to head after body is dubbed

BODY: Golden olive and brown goat hair, mixed then dubbed

THROAT HACKLE: Golden pheasant breast

WING: Bronze mallard flank

HEAD: Black thread
