Video: Westfly Preserves N. Santiam Habitat

By Scott Richmond

In 2012, Westfly made a $3,000 donation to the Western Rivers Conservancy to help purchase farmland along the North Santiam river in Oregon's Willamette Valley. The farmland had been approved as a gravel mine, but now it becomes a key part of wild steelhead and salmon recovery for the Willamette basin.

Scott Richmond interviews Josh Kling of the Western Rivers Conservancy and shows photos of the property. Video, about 6:00.
