Video: Catherine Creek Restoration Project
By Scott Richmond
Catherine Creek, a small stream in northeast Oregon, is a vital part of the recovery plan for wild, native salmon and steelhead in the Snake River basin.
Western Rivers Conservancy has acquired a key piece of land surrounding Catherine Creek, and will take a lead role in the restoration efforts. Recovery will benefit fish and fishing in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Westfly has made a $3,000 donation to this project. Thank you Westflyers!
The video shows scenes from Catherine Creek and describes WRC's plans. The video is 8:32 long.
Scott Richmond is Westfly's creator and Executive Director. He is the author of eight books on Oregon fly fishing, including Fishing Oregon's Deschutes River (second edition).
